Solage Calistoga

Solage, Calistoga (one of my Happy Places) opened in 2007 and my husband and I went the following year for our 10 year anniversary and we've been going almost every year ever since, although it's evolved into a wonderful couple's trip for us now. Solage really set the foundation for top end places to stay in the North Napa Valley. It is, and always has been, a warm and welcoming resort with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable few days. The facilities are nearing a major renovation that includes an improved pool bar and restaurant, moved and improved bocci courts, and upgraded rooms throughout. These updates and cleanup were much needed, and very well done.

Solbar is the main restaurant at Solage. Boasting an impressive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, Solbar makes it easy to never leave the resort. It leverages the generally perfect weather by having significant indoor and outdoor dining options. Solbar has maintained Michelin ratings for well over a decade.
